New publication from Zachary Burton: Corrosion inhibition of an aluminum alloy by environmentally derived microbial biofilms

Zachary Burton recently published an article titled "Corrosion inhibition of an aluminum alloy by environmentally derived microbial biofilms" in Frontiers in Microbiomes.

The research showed that natural microbes from soils and freshwaters formed protective biofilms on aluminum, reducing salt-water corrosion and pointing to a greener way to protect metals.
