The laboratory of Dr. Gwyn Beattie was recently featured in an article by the Iowa State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences for their recent publication in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science titled, "Light cues induce protective anticipation of environmental water loss in terrestrial bacteria".
